Influenced by sounds from the past and present. This Funkshunal Family borrows groove and funk from Herbie Hancock and the Headhunters, Earth, Wind and Fire, Weather Report and the Average White Band. Add a little influence from Donald Byrd, The Miles Davis Quintet and Quincy Jones... and you are knocking on our door.

We aim to fuze Jazz, Soul, Classical and World Music together in a very Funky plate for the listener. Our music... Each song will tell a story all by itself. Whether it sounds like a soundtrack to a movie or becomes the movie itself, we want each song to burn into your mind so you find yourself thinking about it while you're at work.
